Good evening Southern Wisconsin! Happy Tuesday night! We have a few things to talk about tonight, so let’s jump in. Clear tonight, but we could see some late night widespread fog likely. Temps tonight will drop to the upper 50s with light or calm winds.
Early morning widespread fog is possible, but should burn off fairly quickly with that sunshine. A mix of clouds and sunshine with temps near 80 degrees. Light winds. There is a slight chance for some showers or thunderstorms in the afternoon. That chance for storms will end by mid evening. We may see a couple clouds at night with temps near 60 degrees and light winds.
Sunny to start the day on Thursday and that should heat things up to the mid to upper 80s. It’ll likely be the warmest day of the year so far. The heat and high dewpoints could spark off some strong to severe storms during the afternoon and evening hours. Right now, the best shot for severe storms would be north of Madison and up into Central Wi. SE winds 8-13mph. The chance for storms will continue until about midnight or so. Clear late at night with temps near 60 degrees. SW winds 7-12mph.
Sunny on Friday with only a slight chance for a storm in the afternoon. Most places will stay dry. SW winds 16-21mph with gusts to 25-30mph. Temps near 80 degrees. Slight chance for showers at night with temps in the low to mid 50s.
The weekend is looking cooler and 95% dry. Just a slight chance for showers Saturday afternoon. Highs in the upper 60s Saturday and mid to upper 60s on Sunday.
Early next week looks cooler with rain possible.
Have a great night
Sam
