Who is Sam?

My name I Sam Senti! I was born and raised in Lake Mills, WI. I have a beautiful wife of 12 years and her name is Dany. We have 3 beautiful dogs that we call out kids! Raven is out oldest. She’s about 10 years old now. She came to us from a rescue. She is a mix of a bunch of breeds. Sully is our middle “child” and he is 5 years old. He also came from that same rescue. He’s a shepherd mix with some pitty. Our youngest Lacey, is about 2 years old. She is a husky mix, but is only about 25lbs. We live in Waterloo and have been here going on 4 years. We love the small town living! I work full time with the City of Madison as a street machine operator 1. I pick up residential recycling on the west side of Madison. I love my job and have been with the city for about 5 years. I have 2 older brother Andy and Pete and also my mom and dad! We are a very close family. That’s rare nowadays! If you have any questions, just let me know!

Who’s Weatherman Sam?

I call Weatherman Sam my second personality! I started a Facebook page back in 2014 and as of 2+ years ago, I now have a website! I have over 27,000 followers and several businesses who advertise through my page. I publish at least 2 posts a day with a morning and evening forecast. I post more when the weather calls for it. I also have a supporters page on Facebook.

Forecasting
I come up with forecasts a bit more different than the average weather person. I dig deep into the weather models and mash them up in my head. I then use my gut to make the forecast. I don't strictly go by one weather model. I give 2 forecasts a day. One of which I make in the morning and that one usually comes out around 6am. The other one comes out in the evening. The hours will vary on posting that from the late afternoon to night. These forecasts are based out of Waterloo, WI. I don't have enough time in the day to explore out and do forecasts for other areas in Southern Wisconsin. If I ever do this full time, that might be an option in the future.
Storm Tracking
Storm tracking comes into play when we have Summer storms coming and even Winter storms. During the Summer months, I will post multiple times a day or as needed with the impending storm setup. Once the storms arrive, then my updates get more frequent and try to post all watches and warnings. During Winter setups, I love to track snowstorms from far out until they get here. They are very challenging though!
Sponsors and supporters
I do have a business sponsor section on the main page with all the information. I do also have supporters link as well. Without all this support, I can't do everything that I do. I would not have a website and be able to upgrade my weather equipment. Thank you so much if you are a supporting business or page supporter!
