Good evening Southern Wisconsin! We made it through the mid way point of the week! It’s all downhill from here! Just coast for 2 more days. We have some severe storms moving through Southern Wisconsin as I write this. The severe part of line runs from Prairie du Sac down to Shullsburg at 5:12pm. This line will advance east with time and I’m not sure how long it will maintain strength for. Once this line passes we should be good for several hours. Another line of storms MAY impact Southern Wisconsin from 3-6am or so. The models vary. The hires NAM says a pretty good line and the HRRR is saying a very broken line. We will see what happens. Lows tonight will only fall to the mid to upper 60s. SW winds will increase to 6-11mph.

 

That line of storms will move out quickly in the morning and then we may see a few hours of dry time. More showers and storms are possible during the afternoon hours tomorrow ahead of the cold front. Highs will reach the mid 80s. SW to NW winds 11-16mph with the passage of the cold front. Clear and OKAY tomorrow night with lows near 60. Maybe some upper 50s. Our AC is going to stay on most likely. NW winds 6-11mph.

 

Friday and Friday night are looking dry and less humid. Temps during the day will be near 80 with a light north wind. A couple clouds at night with temps in the mid 50s. Winds will be calm.

 

It will feel more like June on Saturday and mid July by Sunday. Temps on Saturday will be in the mid 70s with a mix of sun and clouds. There’s a slight chance for an afternoon shower or storm. SE winds 6-11mph. Cloudy at night with a chance for storms as well. Lows will be in the mid 60s and SE winds 7-12mph.

 

Sunny on Sunday and HOT with temps near 90. South winds 11-16mph will help usher in that hot and more moist air. The heat could spark a few thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. The lows Sunday night will be near 70!!! YUCK!
