Good evening Southern Wisconsin! Hope you are all having a great evening. There’s one cell out there and that’s located over Janesville. That area should be getting pounded with rain at the moment. Storms should be done no later than midnight. We will be cloudy overnight with overnight lows in the low to mid 60s. Winds will be calm and some patchy fog towards morning is possible.
Some patchy early morning fog is possible. There is a slight chance for storms throughout the day, but a more likely chance in the afternoon and evening. Highs tomorrow will be in the mid 80s if we can tap into some sunshine. Sunshine is not good for tomorrow. Light winds. Showers and storms are more likely in the late afternoon and some of those could be strong to severe. Those storms will linger into the evening and end by late evening. So if you have plans to go for fish, please invite me so I can watch the weather for ya! LOL. Total rainfall near 1″ possible through the evening. Overnight should be quiet on Friday night. Cloudy with lows in the mid 60s and light winds.
Saturday is looking similar to Friday. Maybe some storms throughout the day, but a more likely chance in the afternoon and through the overnight hours. Another 1-2″ are possible. Highs in the mid 80s, but we might see less sunshine. SW winds 8-13mph during the day. Storms are likely in the evening and into the overnight hours. Temps will dip to the mid 60s. West winds 6-11mph.
Please keep in mind that the rainfall amounts will vary from location to location Friday through Saturday night. Some areas may see a half inch while others get excessive rainfall of 2″+. It all depends where the storms track and how much rain is with them. Storm speed is also big.
Sunday is looking much better with temps near 80 degrees and lots of sunshine. I’m sure 90% of you will be out mowing lol. West winds 11-16mph. Clear Sunday night with temps near 60 degrees.
Storms will fire back up for next week and the heat will be back to through Wednesday. We should cool off and dry out after that.
