Good evening Southern Wisconsinites! We have a heat breaking cold front on the way and that will swing through late tonight or tomorrow morning. Ahead of the cold front, we can expect showers and storms to roll through with start times from 11pm to 2am or so. Timing is still up in the air. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall and with that being said, a flood watch has been issued for most of the area. The watch runs from late tonight into tomorrow morning. Timing of the different watches varies. Some of the storms could also be on the stronger side with a low severe weather threat. Temps tonight will drop to the low 60s and east winds 7-12mph.

 

Showers and storms are likely as we head into the morning hours and possibly lingering into the early afternoon hours. Once the storms stop, we should see some sunshine later in the day. It’s going to be our coolest day that we’ve had in quite some time with temps near 70 degrees. NE winds will increase to 13-18mph. I also feel like we haven’t had any wind in like 2 months. Get those windows open once the rain stops! Dewpoints will be dropping throughout the day. Clear tomorrow night with temps in the mid 50s. North winds 6-11mph.

 

The rest of the work week and weekend will be dry with lots of sunshine lower dewpoints and cooler temps. Thursday looks to be the warmest day with highs near 80.
