Good evening Southern Wisconsin! Happy weekend! Tonight is going to be mostly clear and cool with temps in the low 30s. Winds will be light.

 

Let’s get out and get those outside chores done tomorrow instead of Sunday or early next week. We will have sunshine and warmer temps in the mid to upper 50s. South winds 6-11mph. Tomorrow night is when the active period will begin. Rain will come into the picture very late at night or very early Sunday morning. Lows will be in the low 40s with increasing clouds. Light winds.

 

Sunday is looking like an all day soaker with rain. Temps will be near 60 degrees. SE winds 11-16mph. Could see close to an inch of rain during the day. Rain with maybe some rumbles of thunder will be possible. According to the models the temps will drop to the low to mid 50s early Sunday night, then rise to the low 60s later in the night. Another half inch of rain is possible.

 

Rain is likely during the day on Monday with temps in the upper 60s. South winds 13-18mph with gusts to 25mph. Another good dose of rain is likely. Rain will continue at night with temps in the low to mid 50s. South winds 6-11mph at night.

 

Rain and storms likely Tuesday and ending Tuesday night with another good amount of rain. Highs on Tuesday will be in the low 60s. SW winds 7-12mph. Rain will end Tuesday night and we may see some clearing with temps in the mid to upper 30s. Total rainfall amounts from Sunday night through Tuesday night look to be in the 2-3.5″ range with isolated amounts up to 4″ possible. This is going to be a long duration soaker.
