Good evening Southern Wisconsin! The rain machine has begun for most of the area. We are at 0.36″ here in Waterloo so far. Rain and thunderstorms are likely tonight as another round moves through. Temps will be in the low 50s to start the night and then rise to near 60 degrees by late night and into tomorrow morning. South winds 11-16mph with gusts to 25-30mph.
Tomorrow morning there could be some showers around, but then we may go on a lull throughout the rest of the day. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s. Rain and storm chances will become likely again near dinner time. South winds 11-16mph with gusts to 20-25mph. Rain and storms will be likely tomorrow night and some of the rain could be heavy. No severe storms are expected. This is when the bulk of the rain will hit. Lows near 60 degrees. South winds 6-11mph.
Tuesday is also looking wet and maybe stormy with highs in the mid 60s. South to west winds 11-16mph with gusts to 20-25mph. Rain chances will end Tuesday evening. Another 1-3″ of rain is possible from what we have had already. The models have been backing off on the totals with the current runs which is good. We don’t need 3-4″ at once. Cloudy at night with temps near 40 degrees. Winds will be light at night.
Wednesday is looking sunny and mild with temps in the mid 50s. Light winds. A couple clouds at night with temps in the mid 30s. Calm winds.
Sunny and the mid 50s on Thursday. Clear at night and the mid 30s at night.
Sunny again on Friday with highs in the upper 50s. A couple clouds and a slight chance for rain Friday night with temps in the upper 30s.
We could see some more rain chances for next weekend. It’s a bit too early to say if it’s going to be a lot or not!
