Good evening Southern Wisconsin! Welcome to your Tuesday night folks! Tonight we will see clouds move into the region if they haven’t already. This is thanks to a clipper system to our north. We will remain dry tonight with temps in the mid 20s for overnight lows. SW winds 11-16mph with gusts to 25-30mph.
Tomorrow morning should be dry and the morning commute should be good to go! Scattered snow showers will move into Southern WI around the lunch hour and linger into early evening. These snow showers are thanks to that clipper. The accumulating snow should stay north, but a dusting that blows around on the road is possible. These snow showers will be mixed with strong winds from the SW at 21-26mph with gusts to 35-40mph. Reduced visibility for a short period is possible. Roads should remain fine. Temps tomorrow will be in the mid 30s. Clearing out and getting cold tomorrow night with temps near 10 degrees. NW winds 21-26mph with gusts to 35-40mph will drop the wind chills below 0.
Sunny and colder on Thursday with temps only in the mid 20s as a short blast of Arctic air will move in behind the clipper. NW winds 11-16mph with gusts to 25-30mph will create wind chills in the single digits above 0. Clear Thursday night and cold with temps near 10 degrees again. Winds will become a simmer, so no wind chill talk.
Sunny and still chilly Friday with temps in the mid 20s. West winds 6-11mph. A couple clouds at night with temps near 20.
The weekend is looking very nice with lots of sunshine for both days. Temps on Saturday will be near 40 and in the mid 40s on Sunday. The warmth will continue into the early parts of next week.
