Good evening Southern Wisconsin! Well the cold is here and will be here for the next day or so. Snow showers will come to an end this evening and we will clear out. That will allow temps to tumble to below 0 in most locations by morning. West winds 16-21mph with gusts to 30-35mph will create wind chills down to -20.
Sunny and very cold tomorrow with temps near 10 degrees. West winds 8-13mph will create below 0 wind chills all day. Clear at night and cold with temps near 0. Winds will become light.
Sunny and a little warmer on Friday with temps in the mid 20s. Still cold though. East 4-9mph. Cloudy at night with rising temps to the upper 20s to near 30 by morning. Snow is possible late at night and some of that snow may mix with freezing rain.
That mix of precipitation will change to all rain on Saturday morning once the temps rise. This isn’t going to be a big event, but some slippery roads will be possible if we get a little snow or ice accumulations. Temps on Saturday will be near 40 degrees, so all ice or snow will melt off nicely. SE winds 7-12mph. Rain will come to an end Saturday evening and we will remain cloudy with temps falling to the low 30s. SE winds 7-12mph.
Cloudy and remaining warm on Sunday with temps in the low 40s. Cloudy with a slight chance for light rain at night with temps in the low to mid 30s.
The active weather pattern will continue into next week, but it looks like we will be on the warm side of things.
