Good evening Southern Wisconsin! We have a very cold day followed by a very cold night ahead. Skies will be clear and temps will dip to -5 to -10 degrees with wind chills down to -25 degrees. West winds 7-12mph.
Martin Luther King Jr. Day is looking dangerously cold. If you have outdoor celebrations, you might want to rethink them or bundle up like it’s Siberia. Highs will be 0-5 degrees, but closer to 0. Wind chills down to -25 degrees. West winds 11-16mph. A couple clouds at night and Monday night will be our coldest night of the year and season with temps -10 to -15. That’s the actual air temp. Wind chills will be down to -30 degrees with a west wind at 7-12mph.
Sunny and continued dangerous cold on Tuesday with temps near 0 degrees. West winds 6-11mph. Wind chills down to -30 degrees. Clouds to increase Tuesday night which will hold temps up to -2 to -7 degrees. South winds 8-13mph.
Cloudy on Wednesday with a slight chance for some light snow in the afternoon and into the evening. IF it snows, we are only looking at a dusting to half inch. Just enough to make the roads greasy. Highs on Wednesday in the low to mid 20s. SW winds 11-16mph. Light snow chance should end by midnight, then cloudy with temps in the low teens. Light winds.
Cloudy on Thursday with temps in the mid 20s. West winds 4-9mph. Clearing out at night with temps in the single digits.
