Good evening Southern Wisconsinites! Tonight is going to be brutal and that’s putting it nicely. We are already at 0 here in Waterloo. Actual air temps will dip to -13 to -18 degrees. NW winds 11-16mph. Wind chills down to -35 degrees. IF you must travel tonight into tomorrow morning, PLEASE use caution and please have a survival kit and fully charged phone. Vehicles tend to break down more when it’s cold. If you are able to, please stay home.

 

Most schools are now closed due to the dangerous temps around Wisconsin on Tuesday. I wish our jobs would follow suit LOL. Trash trucks with these temps don’t mix real well! Highs tomorrow will struggle to reach 0. West winds 11-16mph with wind chills down to -35 at times. We should see an increase in clouds Tuesday night. Temps will dip just below 0, then warm into the single digits above 0 by morning. This will be thanks to the cloud cover and southernly winds 11-16mph.

 

Cloudy on Wednesday with temps in the low to mid 20s. There is a chance for some light snow throughout the day. Most models do show this. It’s not much though. A dusting to half inch IF it snows at your location. SW winds 8-13mph with gusts to 20-25mph. Cloudy at night with temps near 10 degrees. Light winds.

 

Sunny and chilly on Thursday with temps in the low 20s for highs. NW winds 4-9mph. A couple clouds at night with temps in the single digits and light wind.
