Good evening Southern Wisconsin! Most of tonight will stay dry. There’s a chance some of the clouds that move into the region overnight may bring some flurries or very light snow. Lows will drop to the single digits below 0, then rise to the single digits above 0 by morning. South winds 8-13mph with gusts to 25-30mph. A cold weather advisory is in place until 12am tonight. Wind chills down to -20 possible early.
Snow likely to spread over Southern Wisconsin sometime tomorrow morning. Maybe 6-8am west of Madison and 7-10am for the rest of us. As usual, that’s subject to change. Temps will warm up to about 20 or just above. SW winds 11-16mph with gusts to 25-30mph. Blowing snow is likely. Snowfall accumulations of a dusting to 2″ with isolated 3″ amounts. This doesn’t mean we are getting 3″ of snow. This might be a dusting kind of event too. The chance for light snow will be possible tomorrow night, but should end by midnight or so. Temps will drop into the single digits overnight. Winds will lighten up as well.
Thursday and Friday are looking sunny with temps in the upper teens to near 20 for both days. A little wind is possible, but not bad. Overnight lows near 0 on Thursday night and the low teens for Friday night.
The weekend is looking dry with temps in the low to mid 30s on Saturday and backing off to the mid 20s on Sunday.
