SAM’S TEXT FORECAST WITH SASS:
Good evening Southern Wisconsin! If you get your power from wind farms, this is your week! Tonight we will be clear and cool with temps in the mid teens. SW winds 11-16mph.
Sunshine to start your day on Monday, but then some clouds and maybe a couple sprinkles in the afternoon. SW winds 21-26mph with gusts to 35-40mph. Gusts up to 50mph in the wind advisory that’s in place for some of SE WI. Basically from Sheboygan to Walworth county and east of that line. Temps should make the low 40s, but it’ll feel much cooler with the wind. A couple clouds tomorrow night with temps in the low 20s. Winds will slowly decrease throughout the night. Some gusts to 30mph still possible.
Sunny and low 40s on Tuesday. Another pretty windy day is on tap. SW 11-16mph with gusts to 20-25mph. A couple clouds at night with temps in the upper 20s. West winds 11-16mph with gusts to 20-25mph.
Sunny and a little cooler on Wednesday, but still above average with temps in the mid 30s. NW winds 11-16mph with gusts to 20-25mph. Clear at night with temps in the low 20s. Light winds.
Sunny and very warm with temps near 50 degrees. Some locations may not get out of the 40s, but still very mild!! SW winds 11-16mph. A couple clouds at night with temps in the mid 20s.
Sunny and remaining mild on Friday with temps in the low 40s. A chance for a mix at night with temps in the mid 20s.
The weekend is still a HUGE question mark. The 18z Euro stays just rain and comes in on Friday. The 18z GFS shows the same system dropping accumulating snow in Northern IL. The 12Z GEM brings a little light snow to Southern WI Friday into Saturday. So if you see any weather maps out there, just ignore them for now. People were putting snow maps out there 3-4 days ago showing a major snowstorm. Those people probably feel dumb right about now LOL. At the moment this doesn’t look to be a very big weather maker. There’s going to be more chances to get snow as we move through early to mid February, but it’s a wait and see game!
Have a great night
Sam
