Good evening Southern Wisconsin! Happy Thursday evening! Tonight we will see more clouds move into the region and those clouds will bring along a likely chance for some showers and maybe a thunderstorm. No severe storms are expected. Lows will dip to the mid 40s and the winds will be on the light side. Maybe a quarter inch of rain or so if we see some thunderstorms.
Rain will be likely early tomorrow morning with maybe a rumble of thunder. All rain should be done by 9am or so. We should then see the sun come out and warm us up nicely into the mid 70s. SE to SW winds will increase to 16-21mph with gusts to 30-35mph. This will help push in that warm air. No rain is expected after morning. Clouds may roll back in Friday night with temps in the mid 50s. SW winds 16-21mph with gusts to 25-30mph.
Temps will make it to the low 60s early on Saturday, then tumble to the upper 40s by later in the afternoon. West to NE winds 11-16mph. Rain with possible storms are likely Saturday by mid morning. Cloudy Saturday night with temps in the upper 30s. There’s a good chance to see some rain and maybe a rumble of thunder at night. Quarter inch of rain is possible. East winds 11-16mph.
Cloudy with rain and maybe storm chances on Sunday with temps in the low to mid 50s. East to NW winds 11-16mph. Half inch of rain is possible. There’s a chance for a mix of snow and rain on Sunday night, but mainly north of Madison. Some slush is possible. Lows will drop to the mid 20s. Mix chance will end by midnight. North to NW winds 11-16mph with gusts to 20-25mph.
The first 2 days next week look to be dry, then a more active weather pattern sets up for Tuesday night and into mid to late week.
