SAM’S TEXT FORECAST WITH SASS:
Good evening Southern Wisconsin! Any showers that are out there will end within the next hour. We may see a lull in the action until the back end of the system rolls through. This may bring us a quick and heavy burst of snow and sleet overnight. Temps tonight will be near 30. Some of the snow may melt onto the pavement and form some slush for the morning. If it falls fast enough, then it won’t have a chance to melt. Even if ALL the snow sticks and doesn’t melt I would only expect a half inch or less. Cloudy once the snow is done. NW winds 11-16mph.
Maybe some morning clouds tomorrow, but then we should see sunshine and that won’t help the temps much as I am expecting highs to be in the low to mid 40s. North winds 7-12mph. Clear tomorrow night with temps in the mid 20s. Light winds.
More clouds than sunshine on Tuesday with temps in the mid 40s. East winds increasing to 11-16mph in the afternoon. Rain and snow are likely at night, but mostly rain as temps will be in the mid 30s for lows. East winds 16-21mph with gusts to 30-35mph.
Rain with possible thunderstorms on Wednesday with highs near 70. That warm front will be above us for the day. The rain and storms MAY hold off until the afternoon and evening. Some of the storms could be strong to severe. East to south winds 16-21mph with gusts to 30-35mph. Rain chances will end by midnight or so. Clearing out with temps in the upper 30s for overnight lows. West winds 11-16mph.
Sunny and decent for your Thursday with temps in the mid 50s. A couple clouds at night with temps in the low 30s.
Sunny on Friday with temps also in the mid 50s. A couple clouds at night with temps in the low 30s.
Sunny for both weekend days with temps in the mid 50s on Saturday and near 50 for Sunday. At least we get a chance to dry out a bit. We do still need some more rain, but let what has fallen work for a bit.
Have a great night
Sam
