Good morning and welcome back to Monday! UGH it’s Monday! There’s some morning storms well north of Madison. I don’t think anything develops for most of us this morning. There’s another chance for storms this afternoon after a lull in the action. Some of these storms will be strong to severe with large hail being the main threat. A isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. Highs today will be near 80 degrees. South winds increasing to 21-26mph with gusts to 35-40mph. Another more likely chance for storms is likely tonight ahead of the cold front. This is our best(worst) chance to see severe storms with all modes of severe weather possible. This round will likely happen after 11pm. So please get those weather alert radios working. Low temps in the mid 50s. SW winds 21-26mph with gusts to 35-40mph. Higher gusts with thunderstorms.

 

Still a slight chance for a shower tomorrow morning, then maybe some sunshine later on with temps in the mid 60s. SW to NW winds 16-21mph with gusts to 25-30mph. Clear and cooler at night with temps in the upper 30s. Light winds.

 

A mix of clouds and sunshine on Wednesday with temps near 60. Another chance for showers comes in during the afternoon with a better chance coming in the evening hours. Not real windy during the day or at night. Lows will be in the mid 40s. Quarter inch of rain is possible.

 

Showers and maybe some thunder on Thursday with temp in the low 60s. East to NW winds 4-9mph. Showers and storms will continue at night with temps in the mid 40s. NW winds 6-11mph.

 

Still a chance for rain on Friday with highs near 60.

 

The weekend is looking dry and sunny with temps in the mid 60s on Saturday and low 70s on Sunday.
