Good evening Southern Wisconsin! Happy Tuesday night folks! We ended up with 0.23″ which got my fertilizer sunk in I hope! Still some sprinkles or very light rain showers throughout the night and it’s going to be a windy one with west winds 16-21mph with gusts to 30-35mph.
Cloudy tomorrow with a chance for sprinkles in the morning. It’s going to be rather cool with temps near or just below 50 degrees. NW winds 16-21mph with gusts to 25-30mph. Still cloudy tomorrow night which will help hold the temps into the mid 30s. NW winds 11-16mph.
Sunshine with a couple clouds on Thursday with temps in the low 50s. NW winds 11-16mph. Our first freeze potential comes Thursday night when temps will drop to near 30 degrees or below in most locations. I wouldn’t be shocked to see a freeze watch/warning issued. Winds will also become calm which will allow frost to really set in.
A frosty start to Friday is likely, but the sunshine will warm things up to the mid 50s. Light winds. More frost is possible Friday night, BUT if we get a freeze Thursday night, that will end growing season and no more headlines will be issued. Calm winds.
The weekend is looking warmer with temps near 60 for both days. Saturday will be sunny with a slight chance for a shower late in the night. Lows in the low 40s. Not so much sunshine on Sunday, but maybe a tickle warmer, but still highs near 60. It becomes more active again next week.
