SAM’S TEXT FORECAST WITH SASS:
Good evening Southern Wisconsin! Tonight is going to be clear and cool with temps in the mid 20s. Some areas may flirt with the low 20s. Light winds.
Sunny for most of the day tomorrow, but some afternoon clouds are possible with temps reaching the mid 40s. By late afternoon or early evening, we should see some precip move into the area. Some areas may see just rain and some areas may see a mix or snow. The models right now are suggesting areas north of Madison will start as a mix, then change to snow. Areas near and south of Madison will see rain to possibly a mix. 1-2″ with isolated higher amounts to 3″ are possible in the more snowier areas and maybe some slush for Madison and south. Temps will drop to the low to mid 30s. Temps and where the system tracks will be crucial. This is not a big precip system. Winds will be light tomorrow and tomorrow night.
Still some leftover snow or mix showers on Tuesday morning, but those should by done or changed to light rain by the afternoon. There could be some impacts to travel in the snowier areas. Highs in the low 40s. East winds 4-9mph. Cloudy at night and temps around 30 degrees. Winds will be light or calm as well.
Clouds are expected to rule the day on Wednesday with temps in the mid 40s. Light winds. Cloudy at night with temps in the mid 30s.
Cloudy and warmer on Thursday with temps near 50 degrees. Some rain will be possible in the afternoon. Rain should be on the lighter side. Cloudy and a chance for rain at night with temps near 40 degrees.
Cloudy on Friday with some leftover showers possible in the morning. Highs in the upper 40s. Cloudy and the low 30s at night.
Just a slight chance for a light shower Saturday for the opener for deer hunting. Highs in the mid 40s. Cloudy at night and temps in the low 30s. Sunday is looking sunny and warmer with temps getting up to near 50 degrees again.
Have a great night
Sam
