SAM’S TEXT FORECAST WITH SASS:

Good evening Southern Wisconsin! Over the next week plus we will have lots of weather to talk about and it’s the busiest travel week of the year. If you have travel plans up in Northern Wi on Wednesday, you may want to leave Tuesday. They are expected to get several inches of snow starting very late Tuesday night. Around here is going to see some rain, but I don’t expect much. So for tonight we will be clear and seasonal with lows in the mid 30s and light winds.

 

Tomorrow we MAY start out with some sunshine, but I am expecting clouds to roll in and those will bring a chance of fog and also drizzle. No travel issues since temps will be near 50 degrees. Rain likely at night with temps in the low to mid 40s. Light or calm winds. Rain should be fairly light.

 

Rain will be likely Tuesday morning, but then cloudy for the rest of the day and temps in the low to mid 50s. Light winds. Rainfall amounts will be light. Rain again possible Tuesday evening and again the amounts look to be light. Lows in the low 30s, but the rain should be done by midnight, so no travel issues around here.

 

Much cooler on Wednesday with highs in the low to mid 30s and cloudy. There is a chance for some spotty snow showers, but I don’t think it’ll cause an issue around here. Cloudy at night and temps in the low 20s. West winds 16-21mph with gusts to 25-30mph.

 

Thanksgiving is looking DRY and I believe it will be dry around the state. Highs in the low 30s and windy again with NW winds 16-21mph with gusts to 25-30mph. Probably won’t be a great day for an outside Thanksgiving meal! A couple clouds at night and cold with temps in the upper teens.

 

Sunny and remaining cold on Black Friday with temps in the low 30s. Cloudy and a slight chance for snow Friday night. Lows in the upper teens. It’s too early to determine amounts and locations.

 

The SNOW chances will continue into next weekend with snow possible Saturday and more likely at night and into Sunday. Highs on Saturday in the low 30s. Mid 20s at night.

 

A snow chance is possible on Sunday, but may change to a mix with highs in the mid 30s.
