Good evening Southern Wisconsin! The main story tonight is………..How much turkey did you eat! Do you have turkey farts? Tonight we will see a few clouds with temps in the upper teens. NW winds 11-16mph.

 

Sunshine is EXPECTED for tomorrow, but it won’t help out the temps much with highs in the upper 20s. NW winds 6-11mph. Cloudy tomorrow night with snow approaching from the west. I think most if not all night will be dry for SC and SE Wisconsin. SW Wisconsin could see some snow after midnight. Lows in the mid teens. Calm winds.

 

Snow will begin on Saturday morning early and it will accumulate right away. We’ve had some colder temps and the ground is cool enough. Snow may be heavy at times throughout the day and night. Highs in the upper 20s to near 30. East winds 4-9mph shouldn’t cause much blowing snow. Heavy snow will continue late Saturday night with temps dropping to the low 20s. Winds will change to the NW and increase to 8-13mph. This will create some blowing and drifting snow as it falls.

 

The accumulating snow will be done or almost done by Sunday morning or so. Of course the timing can still change. Highs in the mid 20s and some sunshine is possible in the afternoon. A couple clouds at night with temps near 0!

 

Next week is looking more like mid January than early December. I think Winter is here to stay until about June or so.
