Good evening Southern Wisconsin! The big time story for tonight is the major snow storm for tomorrow into Sunday. Some clouds tonight and temps will fall into the upper teens. Light winds. Snow after midnight possible for far western areas of Southern Wisconsin.

 

Snow will overtake all of Southern and Central Wi sometime in the morning hours. Earliest go from west to east. Some areas may not see snow until 9am. Winter storm warnings are in place for all of Southern WI for tonight into early Sunday morning. Snow will be heavy throughout Saturday and Saturday night. Highs near 30 degrees with SE winds 8-13mph. The heavy accumulations will slow down around midnight, but snow will be possible until Sunday morning. Lows in the mid 20s. NW winds 8-13mph with gusts to 20-25mph.

 

Snow wrapping up on Sunday with total snow accumulations of 7-13″ or MORE for some. Sunshine will return for Sunday afternoon. Highs in the upper 20s and NW winds 11-16mph with gusts to 25-30mph. This will create blowing and drifting snow which will cause more travel issues on Sunday. A couple clouds at night with temps near 0. Winds will become calm or light.

 

Cloudy and cold on Monday with temps in the upper teens. There’s another chance for some light snow in the afternoon and evening. It doesn’t look like much, but maybe another sand/salt shift for some.
