Good evening Southern Wisconsin! Looking over last week’s weekly forecast, I did mention the possibility of a weekend snow event for this weekend! It came true! A couple clouds tonight and cold with temps in the lower single digits. Calm winds.

 

Maybe a little sunshine in the morning, but then clouds and another snow chance for the afternoon and evening. Highs in the mid 20s and light winds. The snow will be very light. Most of the area will see and inch or less, but the bottom tier of counties may get a little more at 1-2″. If you are traveling into Illinois tomorrow, you can expect a couple to a few inches. Snow will end by midnight with cloudy skies and temps near 10. Light winds.

 

Tuesday is looking dry and cold with temps in the mid 20s. Not a whole lot of sunshine. SW winds increasing to 6-11mph. Cloudy at night with temps in the mid teens. Slight chance for snow later in the night. SW winds 4-9mph.

 

Cloudy with snow possible on Wednesday with a couple inches or so possible at the moment. SW to NW winds 7-12mph. Highs in the low 30s. Cloudy, then clear at night with temps tumbling to the single digits BELOW 0. NW winds 4-9mph.

 

Sunny and COLD on Thursday with highs only around 10 degrees. Light winds. Bundle up!!! A couple clouds at night with temps in the single digits below 0 again.

 

Snow chances return for Friday and into the weekend. It’s a bit too early to get into the specifics, but it doesn’t look real big right now. Temps in the mid 20s for Friday and through the weekend. I think it’s safe to say that winter is here and winter is staying!
