Good evening Southern Wisconsin! Tonight we will remain cloudy and chilly with lows dropping to near 5 degrees. Calm winds won’t create any wind chills.

 

Cloudy tomorrow with some very light snow possible in the afternoon. Maybe a dusting of snow from Madison and areas to the SW. Temps will be in the mid 20s. West winds will increase in the afternoon to 4-9mph. Cloudy and cold at night with temps near -5. NW winds 11-16mph will create wind chills down to -20 degrees.

 

Very cold on Saturday with temps only getting up to near 5 degrees. Some areas may not even reach 5. NW winds 11-16mph will send the wind chills down to -15 to -20 all day. Brutally cold Saturday night with actual air temps near -10. NW winds 7-12mph should drop the wind chills down to -30 or colder in some areas.

 

Sunny and COLD on Sunday with highs near or just above 5 degrees. NW winds 6-11mph. A couple clouds at night with temps between -5 to -10 degrees. SW winds 4-9mph.

 

The warm up begins on Monday with highs in the low 20s. Mid 30s by Tuesday and near 40 on Wednesday. There is a system for mid to late next week that I am watching, but we MIGHT be on the warm side of it. Too early to tell.
