Good evening Southern Wisconsin! Weekends like this weekend with the very cold air makes me very thankful to have a roof over my head and heat! Some people do not and hopefully shelters are open 24/7 for them this weekend. Some scattered flurries are possible overnight with temps tumbling to near -5. I am literally watching my weather station drop with temps as I write this! NW winds 11-16mph with gusts to 20-25mph.

 

Maybe a little sunshine tomorrow and very cold again with highs struggling to reach 5 degrees. NW winds 7-12mph will drop the wind chills down to -20. Clear and very cold at night with temps near -10. NW winds 7-12mph will drop those wind chills down to -25 to -30 degrees.

 

Sunny and remaining cold on Sunday, but thankfully this is a short lived Arctic airmass. Highs near or just below 10 degrees. NW winds 6-11mph. Cloudy at night with temps near -5 degrees. SW winds 8-13mph.

 

The warm up begins on Monday when temps will reach the mid 20s. SW winds 8-13mph with gusts to 20-25mph will help start to push in that warmer air. Cloudy at night with temps near 10 degrees.

 

Mid 30s on Tuesday. Low 40s on Wednesday. Temps dropping again by Thursday, but not by much.
