Good evening Southern Wisconsin! The temperature rollercoaster is ON! Today was warm. Tomorrow morning will be very warm, then we drop off again. Today we will dip to near 30 early, then temps will rise to the upper 30s by morning. South winds 11-16mph with gusts to 25-30mph. Rain is possible towards morning.

 

Rain throughout the morning hours with temps reaching 40 degrees. Temps will tumble to near 30 in the afternoon and snow squalls will then be possible. Not everyone will get to enjoy them as they will be scattered to isolated. I have an explanation on Facebook of these or google does amazing work LOL. South winds will change to the west at 16-21mph with gusts to 30-35mph. Higher gusts possible within snow squalls. A quick dusting to 1″ is possible for those areas that get the squalls. Just a slight chance for some light snow or flurries tomorrow night with temps in the single digits! Over a 30 degree change from the morning hours. West winds 16-21mph with gusts to 30-35mph. Wind chills down to -15 degrees.

 

Sunny and colder on Friday with temps in the low to mid 20s. NW to south winds 8-13mph with gusts to 25-30mph. Clouds to roll in Friday night with temps in the upper teens early, then rising to the mid to upper 20s by morning. South winds 6-11mph.

 

Just a slight chance for a rain/snow mix on Saturday with clouds and temps in the mid 30s. South to west winds 7-12mph. Clear and colder at night with temps near 5 degrees.

 

Colder again on Sunday with temps in the low 20s for highs and west winds 4-9mph. Cloudy at night with temps in the mid teens.

 

The warmer weather will continue into next week with highs in the mid 30s to near 40. No precip. No snow in sight until at least Christmas. Does this put our white Christmas chances in jeopardy? MAYBE! We need at least 1″ of snow on the ground on Christmas. The big piles of snow don’t count!
