Good evening Southern Wisconsin! I have the next 2 days off from work, so the morning forecasts might be a little delayed. Light snow and freezing drizzle will end by midnight or so. We had a pretty long period of moderate snow here in Waterloo. It was really pretty, but not pretty to drive in! Cloudy for the remainder of the night with temps near 20 degrees. Calm to very light winds.

 

Cloudy tomorrow with temps back in the mid 20s. Another round of light snow is looking more likely from about mid to late morning to mid to late afternoon. Amounts should remain under 1″. NW winds 8-13mph might cause a little blowing snow. Clearing out tomorrow night with temps tumbling to near 5 degrees. NW winds 6-11mph. If you’re going out tomorrow night, PLEASE have a sober ride home. It’ll be too cold to try and drunk walk home.

 

The start of 2026 is looking very quiet! Maybe a little sun, but I think clouds will rule the day. Highs only in the mid to upper teens. Light winds. Cloudy and chilly tomorrow night with temps near 10 degrees.

 

The sunshine should return on Friday, but it’s looking a bit chilly with temps near 20 degrees. Light winds. A couple clouds at night with temps between 5 and 10 degrees. Calm winds.

 

More clouds than sunshine on Saturday with temps in the low 20s. Light winds. Cloudy and the low teens at night.

 

Cloudy and a bit warmer on Sunday with temps reaching the upper 20s to near 30 degrees. Just a slight chance for a light snow shower Sunday night.

 

The early portion of next week when things are back to normal are looking quiet and “warm” with temps in the upper 20s to around 30 degrees.
