Good evening Southern Wisconsin! This sure has been a STRANGE cold season so far. We get a bunch of snow in late November and early December, then nothing. We get a little snow over the last couple weeks. Today we get a half inch of rain and tomorrow we will see sunshine and temps in the low 40s. Snow potential for Friday night into Saturday. Mother Nature sure knows how to change things up! Drizzle will end early tonight, but the fog may hang around overnight and into tomorrow morning. Temps should dip to the upper 20s which may cause some overnight and morning slippery spots on untreated pavement. Light winds.

 

Some fog possible in the morning, then sunshine and temps warming up nicely into the low 40s. West to south winds 4-9mph. Clouds to increase tomorrow night, but we should stay dry with temps in the mid 30s with south winds 4-9mph.

 

Rain will be likely on Thursday afternoon along with very warm temps in the mid 40s. Light winds. Rain ending in the late evening hours. Total rainfall of over a half inch is possible. We could see some moderate rainfall at times. If only this was snow! Temps will dip to the mid 30s. East to NW winds 4-9mph.

 

Just a slight chance for a shower Friday morning, then we may see some sunshine with temps near 40 and NW winds 6-11mph. There’s a chance for rain, rain/snow mix, and snow on Friday night depending on your location. SE areas will see rain and maybe a mix whereas the NW areas could see all snow.

 

Snow and mix likely on Saturday into Saturday night, but right now we are still several days out and the models are not locked in. All of them show at least some snow. Most show light to moderate accumulations at the moment. I don’t think this will be “THE BIG ONE” as of right now. Still time for things to change a lot. If you travel on Saturday, just be mindful, but don’t alter plans. Sunny and cooler on Sunday with temps near 30 degrees. Back to the mid to upper 30s next week.
