Good evening Southern Wisconsin! Snow has moved in and a winter weather advisory kicks in now until early tomorrow morning. Anywhere from 1-3″ of snow is likely by morning with isolated higher amounts to the south. Winds will be light.

 

Snow will end early tomorrow morning, but the roads will still be in rough shape when you go to work or school. Maybe a little sunshine and warmer with temps in the low to mid 20s. Salt will work wonders in the afternoon. More snow is possible tomorrow afternoon into tomorrow evening. Starting between 4-5pm give or take an hour. SW winds will increase in the morning to 11-16mph which will help those temps rise. Snow likely tomorrow evening, but should be done by 9-10pm or so. Clearing out and getting colder with temps near 5 degrees. SW to NW winds 11-16mph with gusts to 25-30mph. That could blow around the snow that does fall.

 

Sunny and chilly Thursday with temps in the mid teens. An EXTREME COLD WEATHER WATCH goes in effect Thursday night late and goes until Saturday noon. Air temps Thursday night could reach -15 degrees and wind chills as low as -40 degrees. NW winds 7-12mph.

 

Sunny and dangerously cold on Friday with HIGHS -3 to -8 degrees. NW winds 6-11mph. Wind chills could be -30 or colder all day. Awful Friday night with temps between -15 and -20 and wind chills down to -35. We won’t have much wind so that will help A LOT!

 

A warm up is coming for Saturday with highs near 0! Cold at night with temps near -10.

 

It’s going to be shorts weather on Sunday with temps near 10!!! -5 at night.
