SAM’S TEXT FORECAST:
Good evening Southern Wisconsin! Hope you all had a great weekend and are ready for another week of work! Monday looks a bit stormy, but then quiet for the remainder of the week. Tonight we will see an increase of clouds.
Lows will drop to the upper 40s. SE winds 7-12mph. The HRRR isn’t real “excited” for severe weather tomorrow or tomorrow night. It brings a batch of light rain in the early morning hours, then another round from say 10am to 2pm. The
atmosphere should be pretty calm after that and I don’t think we even see sunshine. It then brings a round of storms through from about 6pm to about midnight. This is the timeframe where we could see a strong to severe storm. IF severe storms
do form, then all modes of severe weather would be possible. From Madison and areas to the east and south may get between 1-2″ of rainfall. Areas west and north will see lower. We will know a bit more in the morning. Highs tomorrow will be
in the mid to maybe upper 60s. If it stays rainy and blah, then we could see cooler temps. SE winds 16-21mph with gusts to 30mph. Showers and storms should be done by about midnight. South to west winds 11-16mph with gusts to 30mph.
Tuesday is going to be quiet with more clouds than sunshine and temps in the low 60s. West winds 11-16mph with gusts to 30mph. Cloudy at night with temps in the low to mid 40s. Light winds as well.
The sun returns on Wednesday with temps near 60. NW winds 6-11mph. Clear and cooler at night with temps in the upper 30s. Calm winds.
More clouds than sunshine on Thursday with temps in the upper 50s. Slight chance for an afternoon shower. Cloudy at night with temps in the upper 30s.
More clouds than sunshine again on Friday with another slight chance for a shower. Highs in the upper 50s. Clearing out at night with temps possibly in the mid 30s. This could lead to some frost potential towards Saturday morning.
Warmer weather is coming for the weekend with temps in the low 60s on Saturday and near 70 on Sunday. We should see sunny skies for both days.
Have a great night
Sam
