Good evening Southern Wisconsin! The smoke is gone for now and we are left with warm and muggy air out there! Probably still not the best for breathing. Let’s not have a campfire tonight! We’ve had one for the past 2 days. I feel so bad for those areas that are being devasted by fires. Lows tonight only dropping to the low to mid 70s. SW winds 4-9mph.

 

Sunny and very warm tomorrow with temps in the mid to upper 80s. West to north winds 7-12mph. Some smoke could slowly filter back in later in the day. A couple clouds at night and more smoke will move back into Southern Wisconsin and we may approach the very unhealthy air. Lows near 60 and light winds.

 

Areas of smoke are likely on Sunday with temps in the mid 80s. Light winds. Smoke may end in the evening hours again. Slight chance for a storm later at night. Lows in the mid 60s. Light winds.

 

Monday is a bit of a question mark this far out, BUT the SPC has issued a SLIGHT RISK or level 2 threat for severe storms. All modes of severe weather would be possible, but the main threat would be damaging straight line winds. We could see 1-2 rounds of storms. One in the morning and another in the late afternoon or evening hours. The second round is the one to watch right now. Some areas could get a good 1-2″ of rain. We need it! We will cool down and dry out for the rest of the week! Highs near 80 for most of the week. Now that’s the Summer temps that I can handle. I despise this 90s crap!
