SAM’S TEXT FORECAST:
Good evening Southern Wisconsin! Patchy smoke is likely tonight into tomorrow morning. Temps will dip to near 60 degrees with light winds.
Some more patchy smoke is likely in the morning, but should be out of here by noon-ish. Isolated to scattered storms will be possible from mid morning to late afternoon. Some of the afternoon storms are worth watching to see if they go severe. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s IF we see some sunshine. SW winds 8-13mph. A more significant threat for severe weather will be likely east of Madison from 6-10pm or so. All modes of severe weather will be possible including a threat for hurricane force winds and strong tornadoes. If you have plans outside tomorrow, please stay up to date on the weather and keep an eye on the radar! Probably not the best day to be at the beach or on the lake. We will clear out tomorrow night with temps in the upper 60s. West winds 11-16mph with gusts to 25mph.
Tuesday is when we begin another prolonged dry period. If you don’t get rain on Monday, then it’s going to get real dry! It’s going to be a cooler and less humid week. Hopefully no smoke. Highs on Tuesday will be in the low 80s. Clear at night with temps in the mid 50s. NW winds 11-16mph with gusts to 25mph during the day and North winds 8-13mph.
Sunny and very nice on Wednesday with temps in the mid to upper 70s and north winds 6-11mph. Clear and the mid 50s at night with calm or light winds.
More sunshine on Thursday and warming up just a tick to the low 80s and still low dewpoints. A couple clouds at night with temps in the upper 50s.
Warming back up on Friday with temps in the mid 80s. Clear at night and 60 degrees.
Getting hot by the end of next weekend and staying dry. Sunny and the mid 80s on Saturday and near 90 on Sunday! Hey Fall, where ya at buddy!?
Have a great night!
Sam
