Good evening Southern Wisconsin! Clouds will increase tonight and I think most of tonight will stay dry, but can’t rule out a stray storm popping up. Strong to severe storms will roll through from about 4-9am. The morning commute will likely be impacted if you’re Madison and to the east. Lows tonight will fall to just the lower 70s with light winds. The primary threat with the storms is damaging straight line winds with a lower risk for tornadoes and hail.

 

Storms should be done by 10am tomorrow. We could then get sunny, hot, and humid with temps near 90 degrees. Around 4pm some storms might begin to fire up east of Madison and some of those could be severe. All modes of severe weather could be possible. The SPC has Madison and to the east under a slight risk or level 2 threat. Storms should be done by late evening. Clearing out over night with temps in the mid 60s. North winds 7-12mph.

 

Sunny and warm on Tuesday and also less humid. Temps will top out in the lower 80s with north winds 7-12mph. Clear and okay at night with temps in the upper 50s. Calm winds.

 

Sunny and very warm on Wednesday with temps in the mid 80s. Light winds. Clear and the low 60s at night with calm winds.

 

Sunny and pretty hot on Thursday with temps in the upper mid 80s to upper 80s. Light winds. Slight chance for a storm late at night with temps in the mid 60s.

 

Friday is looking cloudy with storms looking more likely in the afternoon. Cloudy with storms possible at night. Highs in the low 80s and lows in the mid 60s.

 

Slight chance for storms on Saturday, but most of the weekend is looking sunny and very warm with temps in the mid 80s.
