Good evening and WOW! I’ve been in some storms in my lifetime, but when that tornado was in Marshall heading for Waterloo, I was a bit freaked out. I’ve never seen a tornado and still haven’t. I actually went to the basement unlike some of you lol. Once the storms stop this evening, we should be in the clear for the next couple of days. I wish I could say we have a dry week coming…. Tonight we should remain cloudy with temps in the mid 60s. SW winds will change to the NW with the passage of the cold front at 8-13mph.
Tomorrow we will likely see a mix of clouds and sunshine with temps in the upper 70s. NW winds 6-11mph. Clear tomorrow night with lows down to about 60 degrees.
Sunny on Monday with temps back into the mid 80s and warming up again! Winds will be light. A couple clouds at night and showers and storms are possible late. Lows in the upper 60s. South winds 6-11mph.
Tuesday is going to be another caution day for heat and storms. Sunny with temps in the upper 80s to near 90. Showers and storms are possible in the afternoon and evening and some of them could be strong to severe. Just what we need after a day like we had today. SW winds 7-12mph. Cloudy at night with storms possible at night too. Lows in the mid 60s.
High pressure will build in for a couple days on Wednesday and Thursday and the weather will be nice. Friday and through the weekend is looking like more damn storm chances. We REALLY REALLY NEED a week of dry and cool! I could go for a hard freeze right now to get rid of the damn mosquitoes!
