Good morning Southern Wi! Sorry for the later forecast. Tried writing this at 600am and kept falling asleep at my computer LOL. I gave up and went back to bed LOL. We have some showers in the area and these will likely put a damper on the severe threat for storms for later on. I really wasn’t expecting all this morning rain. This heat, humidity, and energy can do weird things. The SPC still has us under a slight risk for severe weather along with a risk for a tornado. I think things get pushed south though. We will have to wait and see. I really think this rain will put a damper on things. We can still expect heavy rain and storms later on today and tonight. Temps will struggle to reach 80 degrees. Winds will be a bit gusty. Storms should end by midnight tonight. Gusty winds tonight as well with lows in the mid 60s.
Sunday is looking dry with temps in the upper 70s. A mix of sun and clouds is possible. NW winds 6-11mph. Clear at night with lows near 60.
The next chance for storms comes in Monday night through Tuesday night. We could really use a week without any rain or humidity. This is going to be one of the worst years for mosquitoes in my opinion.
