Good evening Southern Wisconsin! I would sure LOVE an easy week of weather forecasting. Dry and in the mid 70s each day. That would be a win win. Gives me a break and also gets the water levels lowered! It would also give the farmers some breathing room and lawn care places days to work and catch up! That is not going to be the case over the next week or so. Our only day and evening without a chance for rain is Saturday…. Tonight we should see a line of storms form and roll through. The timing will vary from place to place, so some areas may be able to get the fireworks off and some may not. The further west you are the worst chance of seeing fireworks. Areas to the east MAY be able to squeak them in. Some cities have postponed them so far. Some may wait to the last minute to see what actually happens. I applaud the cities who postponed them already to make sure their city stays safe and can shoot them off when the weather is nice again. Lows tonight will drop to the mid 60s. Winds will be light. Rainfall amounts up to a half inch or so.
Tomorrow morning into the early afternoon might be dry, but then we will see some showers and storms form by noon or just thereafter. Highs should only make the low 70s. SW to NW winds 6-11mph. Slight chance for showers and storms in the evening, but the chances will be done by mid to late evening. Firework shows tomorrow SHOULD be good, but the mosquitoes will be terrible. Lows will drop to near 60 degrees. NW winds 4-9mph. Maybe some clearing towards morning.
Saturday is looking pleasant and more comfortable with temps in the upper 70s. Light NW winds. A couple clouds at night and there is a slight chance for a shower late overnight. Lows near 60. Calm or light winds.
A mix of clouds and sunshine on Sunday with temps back to near 80 degrees. The chance for rain and storms will increase as the day goes on. South winds 4-9mph. Cloudy at night with a chance for storms as well and temps in the low 60s. Some mid 60s are possible.
Early next week is looking rainy, but after mid week we MAY dry out. We shall see.
