Good evening Southern Wisconsinites! We have some showers out there this afternoon and will linger into this evening. Most of the showers are east of Waterloo. I think most of the action stays east of Madison. We will be cloudy for a bit tonight, but could see some clearing late. If we can see some clearing, then temps will dip into the mid 30s and some frost is possible. North winds 6-11mph.
Sunshine for tomorrow and very cool with temps struggling to reach 50 degrees. Some areas may stick in the upper 40s. North winds 11-16mph. Frost likely tomorrow night with a freeze possible. a FREEZE WARNING has been issued for far western areas of Southern WI and a FREEZE WATCH has been issued for areas west of Madison. Dane county is in the watch. Temps could sneak into the upper 20s. That might be enough to end growing season here in Southern Wisconsin. Light winds.
Not as cool on Wednesday with highs in the mid to upper 50s, but we will have to deal with frost and cold temps in the morning. Light NW winds. Clear at night with temps in the low 30s which means another frosty night is likely.
Frosty on Thursday morning and another sunny day is expected with temps jumping into the mid 60s. South winds 8-13mph. Clear and not as cool at night with temps in the low 40s. South winds 11-16mph.
Friday is looking pretty warm with lots of sunshine and temps in the upper 60s to near 70. Clear at night with temps in the low 40s.
The weekend is looking dry with full sunshine for both days and temps will also be in the low 70s for both days. Not too bad for mid to late October!
