Good evening Southern Wisconsin! Well if you didn’t like all the wind today, you’re really not going to like tomorrow! Tonight we will see some showers and storms roll through for some of the area. The further to the SE you are the less of a chance of rain and storms. I think Madison is going to be the main line and everyone NW of there will get very wet. Some stronger storms are possible from Madison and areas to the NW. Lows tonight will drop to near 60 or maybe the lower 60s. South winds 11-16mph with gusts to 25-30mph.

 

Tomorrow is going to be a transition day. A wind advisory has been issued from the morning hours to the early evening hours. Showers and maybe storms will sweep through with the passage of the cold front. SE to west winds 21-26mph with gusts to 40-45mph. Rain chances should end by noon or so. Temps may peek out in the mid 60s for the morning hours, but then drop back to near 50 for the afternoon. Total rainfall will vary quite a bit. 2-3″ NW of Madison. Madison could see about an inch or so. SE of Madison will get between 0.10″ to 0.50″. The least amounts to the far SE. Cloudy tomorrow night with temps in the mid 30s. West winds will decrease a bit overnight. We should be dry though.

 

Friday is going to be a cooler day with temps near 50 degrees for highs. Dang near a 30 degree temp drop from today. I wouldn’t say it’s “Arctic air” by any means. 50 or slightly above is our average temp for this time of the year. Winds will at least be light or calm. Clear and cool Friday night with temps in the low 30s. Calm winds.

 

Sunny and warmer on Saturday with temps near 60 degrees. South winds 6-11mph. Cloudy with a chance of rain Saturday night with temps in the low 40s. Light winds.

 

Sunday is going to be a good day to do stuff inside. Rain with temps near 60 degrees. The overall weather pattern will be active this weekend through mid next week!
