Good morning Wisconsinites! Happy hump day! I think most of today stays dry for most of us. There’s a chance for some showers and storms west and NW of Madison this afternoon. Highs today will be in the mid to upper 70s. SW winds 16-21mph with gusts to 35-40mph. So another windy day! A line of strong to severe storms will roll through some of the area tonight. The highest threat to see severe storms would be Madison and to the west and NW. The rest of us could see general thunderstorms. I think a general 0.10″ to 1.5″ is possible. The least amounts to far SE WI and the highest amounts NW of Madison. There’s going to be a pretty sharp cutoff on who sees some good rains and who doesn’t. Lows tonight will drop to the low 60s. South winds 11-16mph with gusts to 25-30mph.
Rain and possible storms are likely for your commute in to work on Thursday, but should be wrapping up in the morning hours. Temps will rise to the mid 60s in the morning, then drop to near 50 for the remainder of the day. South winds 21-26mph with gusts to 35-45mph changing to the west once the cold front passes.
Friday will be dry and cooler.
