Good evening Southern Wisconsin! Clouds will filter in this evening and some precipitation could move in later on tonight and into tomorrow morning. We could see light snow/flurries and maybe some freezing drizzle. Lows tonight will dip into the low 20s. SW winds 4-9mph. I’m not expecting any huge issues from the precip, but some scattered slick spots might be possible.
The mixed precip chance will continue tomorrow morning. Again, nothing big, but some isolated slickery spots are possible. That stuff should end by late morning or so. There’s a chance for a little sunshine later in the afternoon with temps getting up to near 30 degrees. Fricken heatwave lol. NW winds 4-9mph. Clearing out tomorrow night with temps in the low teens. NW winds 4-9mph.
Saturday may start out with some sunshine, but then clouds will roll in during the afternoon ahead of the next weather maker. Highs in the mid 20s. Light winds. Cloudy at night with a chance for light snow late. Lows in the low 20s and light winds.
Light snow is likely on Sunday with temps near or just above 30 degrees. So this won’t be a real cold snow as we will be close to the low pressure. I think the main area of accumulation snow will be up in Central WI and only an inch or two around here. These clippers can jump all over the place even right before it snows. Any jogs south would increase our snow totals. Any jogs north would mean nothing or maybe some mix precip. Either way this isn’t going to be a big weather maker, but could cause some travel issues during the day on Sunday into Sunday night. South winds 4-9mph. Cloudy Sunday night with temps near 10 degrees. So any snow that does fall you will want to shovel it quickly. West winds 4-9mph.
Early next week we will see a shot of Arctic air, but by Thursday it will be gone and we will be back to the upper 20s. The week looks dry so far.
