Good evening Southern Wisconsin! Light snow will wrap up near or just after midnight tonight. Not expecting a whole heck of a lot of snow. Nothing to a half inch at max. Maybe just enough to make the roads a little greasy. Lows tonight will drop to the upper teens. SW winds 11-16mph.
Some leftover flurries are possible tomorrow morning, but no issues expected. There could be some slick spots on side roads that are untreated. Temps will make the low to mid 30s. NW winds 11-16mph. Cloudy at night with temps near 20 degrees. South winds 4-9mph.
A mix of more clouds than sunshine is likely on your Friday and we will warm up nicely to near 40 degrees. South winds 11-16mph with gusts to 20-25mph will help usher in that warmer air. Cloudy at night with temps near 20. SW to NW 8-13mph.
Sunny with falling temps on Saturday. We will start out with temps in the low 20s, but then fall to the mid teens by the afternoon. This will be the cold air from all the way up into Siberia. Cloudy Saturday night with temps near or just below 0.
Sunday is going to be brutally cold with the coldest air of the season here. Temps will struggle to reach much more that 0 degrees. 0 to 5 degrees for highs. 5 might be pushing it too much. Sunday night we will drop down to near -10 for actual air lows. There might be some late starts on Monday and again Tuesday.
Monday we will struggle to reach 0. It’s also Martin Luther King Jr. Day, so some schools might be closed anyway? It’ll be sunny, but that won’t help much. Just stay inside. A couple clouds at night with temps dropping to -10 for actual air lows. This is not including wind chills.
Tuesday we will warm up a couple degrees to the mid single digits above 0. Wednesday will be in the low 20s. No big snows in the near or medium range future.
