Good evening Southern Wisconsin! The snow is here and here to stay for the next several hours. Some areas may see more than 4-6″ and some may see less than 4″. I always say that there’s surprises with every storm system. Snow will continue into the overnight hours, but should end by midnight west and 2am east. Maybe a little later near the lake. We will be cloudy for the remainder of the night with temps dropping to the single digits. North winds 7-12mph.
Cloudy to start your Thursday, but maybe some sunshine later on in the day. Highs will only make the mid teens and NW winds 11-16mph. Some drifting of snow is possible. Clear tomorrow night with temps in the single digits BELOW 0. Winds will at least be calm or very light so not much of a wind chill factor.
Clouds to increase Friday morning and then snow likely Friday afternoon and into the overnight hours. A lull in the action will occur at some point. Temps will be in the mid 20s during the day and near 20 at night. South winds during the day at 8-13mph. South winds 6-11mph at night. This will be round 1 of the 2 round of snow. A few inches possible
Another round of snow is likely for Saturday, but I’m not sure on the timing. Another few inches would be possible. Temps on Saturday will be near 30 degrees, so it’ll be a more wet snow. Snow will end by midnight and temps will drop to the single digits and the winds will ramp up as the storm exits.
