Good morning Wisconsinites! Snow is falling this morning over SE Wisconsin. I have a little accumulation on the elevated back deck. The roads out front look wet. Snow will end this morning. The winds will ramp up from the NW to 26-31mph with gusts to 45-50mph. Total snow accumulation is an inch or less for most of us. More to the north possible. Cloudy and remaining windy tonight with temps near 20 degrees. NW winds 21-26 mph with gusts to 35-40mph.

 

Thanksgiving is looking cold with temps around 30 degrees. A couple flurries or light snow showers are possible, but they shouldn’t cause issues. NW winds 16-21mph with gusts to 25-30mph. Cloudy at night with temps in the upper teens and winds 11-16mph.

 

We could see some sunshine finally on Friday with temps around 30 degrees. NW winds 4-9mph. Snow will become likely late Friday night. It will begin after midnight. Accumulation is likely by Saturday morning. Lows in the upper teens.

 

Moderate to heavy snowfall is likely for Saturday with moderate to heavy accumulations. Temps will be near 30 degrees. Snow likely Saturday night with temps in the low 20s. This could be a significant snowstorm for Southern WI if everything plays out right. I will likely have my first map out later today or this evening. Please keep in mind that weather changes quite often. The global weather models have been locked in for a few days now.
