Good morning Wisconsinites! Howdy friends! Today will be warm, but blah. Clouds with some fog and temps in the low 40s. Some more fog possible overnight along with a chance for some light rain. Winds will become light.
Rain and very warm conditions are likely tomorrow with temps in the upper 40s to near 50 now! Winds will change and increase to the NW at 11-16mph. Rainfall amounts up to a half inch are possible. Temps will tumble for areas to the north in the afternoon and will quickly change that to snow. Temps will tumble in the early evening hours for Southern WI and will change to a mix or snow. Snowfall amounts are very subject to change. 2-4″ of snow is possible for most of us and 0-2″ is possible for areas well to the south. Temps will dip into the upper teens overnight and that will possibly cause a flash freeze. West winds will increase to 21-26mph with gusts to 35-40mph causing near blizzard like conditions. Travel will be very difficult for some and nearly impossible for areas to the north.
Snow and winds will continue into the morning on Monday with temps only getting into the low to mid 20s. Cloudy for the remainder of the day and very windy with NW winds 21-26mph with gusts to 35-40mph. This will cause blowing and drifting snow all day. Clear, cold, and remaining windy at night with temps in the single digits. NW winds 16-21mph with gusts to 25-30mph. Some blowing and drifting will be possible.
Maybe some light snow for NYE night with very cold temps.
