Good morning and welcome to your Sunday! Snow is likely again today, but this will be our final round this weekend. The forecast for snow worked out pretty spots on. The amounts for some did not thanks to all that convective snow that wouldn’t move LOL. Snow will roll in around 2-3pm and linger until maybe midnight or so. Highs today in the mid teens. SW winds 7-12mph. Possibly clearing out tonight with temps near -5. NW winds will increase to 21-26mph with gusts to 35-40mph. This will create dangerous wind chills down to about -30 degrees. Blowing snow is very likely which may lead to difficult travel tomorrow morning if you are working. I thankfully have off.
Blowing snow and very cold temps will be on tap for Martin Luther King Day tomorrow. Highs only near 5 degrees. NW winds 16-21mph with gusts to 30-35mph. Cold weather advisory runs from 3am to noon. Below 0 wind chills all day. Cold and clear at night with temps near -5. West winds 6-11mph.
The next chance for snow comes in Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning. Another inch or two is possible. Still watching for another system near next weekend!
