Good evening Southern Wisconsin! This is not a joke, but we could see ice and tornadoes all in a 18 hour period! Rain will begin tonight with lows in the low 30s to the north and mid 30s south. Freezing rain is possible from

Madison to MKE and north. South should see all rain. East winds 13-18mph with gusts to 30mph. Some power outages possible north with the ice and wind.

 

Morning showers are likely tomorrow morning with freezing rain still possible to the north. We will see a lull in the action tomorrow morning into the afternoon. Showers and storms may develop in the afternoon and linger

into the evening hours. Some of those storms could become severe with tornadoes possible. The biggest threat for tornadoes IMO will be over SW Wisconsin and NW IL. We will see more of a damaging wind threat. All action

will end by 10pm to midnight. Cloudy overnight with temps near 40. South to west winds 13-18mph with gusts to 30mph.

 

Maybe a little sunshine on Friday with temps in the mid 50s. West to east winds 6-11mph. Showers likely at night with storms possible. Some storms could be strong west of Madison. Lows in the lower 40s. East winds 6-11mph.

 

Cloudy on Saturday with just a slight chance for showers and highs in the low to mid 50s. West winds 11-16mph with gusts to 30mph. Cloudy and cool at night with temp in the low 30s.

 

Maybe a little sunshine Sunday with temps near or just below 50 degrees. NW winds 11-16mph with gusts to 25mph. Slight chance for a mix at night and cold with temps in the low 30s.

 

The first half of next week will be cool and quiet with temps warming to the mid 50s by mid week!
