Good morning to all my beautiful followers! Happy Thursday! Cold rain is likely this morning. We may or may not see a short break between the showers and strong to severe storms later this afternoon. The winds will be
11-16mph with gusts to 30mph. Those winds will change to the south and usher in warmer and more humid air. That may spark some severe storms with the threat of tornadoes. I am a firm believer in needing sunshine before
severe storms, so we will see what happens. The SPC is holding steady on the enhanced risk for severe storms with a hatched area for stronger tornadoes. Showers and storms will end around 10pm tonight, then cloudy
with temps in the mid to upper 30s. Winds will change back to the west once the storms are done. 1-2″ of rain is possible with locally higher amounts in strong storms.
We could see a little sunshine tomorrow with temps in the mid 50s. West to east winds 6-11mph. Showers and storms are possible tomorrow night with temps in the upper 30s. Some heavier rain is possible.
The weekend is now looking mostly dry besides for a slight chance of rain early Saturday morning. Cloudy on Saturday with temps in the mid 50s. South to west winds 11-16mph with gusts to 25-30mph.
Cloudy and cool on Saturday night with temps near the freezing mark of 32 degrees. Winds will still be strong.
Clouds will move out during the day on Sunday with temps in the lower 50s and still windy. Clear and the low 30s at night with LIGHT winds.
Cool with slight chances of rain early next week, then warming to near 60 by Wednesday.
